Durante el acto celebrado en la tarde de ayer, en la sede de la Alcaldía de Roseau, dedicado a nuestros Cinco Héroes injustamente encarcelados en los Estados Unidos, la Asociación de Cubanos Residentes en Dominica “Titán de Bronce” dio a conocer, a través de la miembro de su ejecutivo, Zahidú Carrillo, el siguiente mensaje de solidaridad:  
“Dominica, 12 de septiembre de 2013
Una vez más denunciamos el encarcelamiento injusto de nuestros cinco héroes cubanos, nuestros porque son parte de nuestro ilustrado país, de nuestra sociedad y de nuestra familia cubana, la cual no descansará hasta lograr la libertad incondicional.
Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero y Fernando González  nuestros cuatro hermanos aún presos en cárceles norteamericanas. Continuaremos alzando este delito cometido de todas las formas posibles, para así apoyar a nuestros cinco patriotas cubanos apresados el 12 de septiembre de 1998 en Miami, donde monitoreaban a organizaciones terroristas anticubanas para prevenir la comisión de actos vandálicos en nuestra Patria.
La Fiscalía estadounidense no ha podido probar ninguno de los cargos por los que se dictaron gravísimas penas contra los Cinco. Pero allí están, hace 15  largos y amargos años, siendo víctimas de tratos  inhumanos, castigos crueles y condenas injustas. También han sido violados sus derechos, en un país que se enorgullece de ser gran defensor de los derechos humanos. Nos   preguntamos. ¿Puede Estados Unidos hablar acerca de derechos humanos?
Hoy exigimos su libertad, exigimos justicia, no con cañones, tampoco con agresiones sino con el amor y la fuerza de la palabra, nuestros corazones y sus tradiciones. ¡Exigimos libertad! Levantando solidariamente un muro de lazos amarillos llenos de esperanzas y optimismo. ¡Aclamamos a los cinco!
¡Libertad para los cinco!    ¡Libertad a la verdad!

Statement of the Association of Cuban Residents in Dominica "Titan de Bronce" on the Cuban Five
Dominica, September 12, 2012. - During the meeting held yesterday afternoon at the headquarters of the Municipality of Roseau, dedicated to our Five Heroes unjustly imprisoned in the United States, the Association of Cuban Residents in Dominica "Titan de Bronce" released through its member, Zahidú Carrillo, the following message of solidarity:
“Dominica, September 12th, 2013

Once again we wish to register the observance of September 12, 1998 to commemorate the unjust imprisonment of our five Cuban heroes, because they are still part of our illustrious country, our society and our Cuban family. We will not rest until their liberty is granted unconditionally.
Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González, our four brothers who are still imprisoned in U.S jails. We will continue to raise awareness in all available media about these five Cuban patriots imprisoned on September 12, 1998 in Miami. These defenders of the Cuban way of life were actively involved with the monitoring and prevention of anti-Cuban terrorist activities aimed at commissioning acts of vandalism in our country.
The U.S has failed to substantiate any of the charges against the men, however they still went on to impose severe and serious penalties against the five. But there they are it has been 15 long and bitter years. They have become victims of abuse, inhuman treatment and unjust convictions. They have become victims of human rights violations in a country which prides itself as a defender of these same rights. Can the United States still talk about human rights while these men remain imprisoned?
Once again, we demand their freedom, demand justice with no guns, nor with aggression but with the strength of words of persuasion, words of love, words from our hearts and words which reflect the Traditions of the United States. We rise solidly a wall of yellow ribbons, full of hope and optimism. Free the Five! Freedom to the truth!
